🦀 Fluker's Corner Rock Food & Water Bowl: Perfect for Hermit Crabs Review

Was surprisingly small and too small for our average hermit crab. Didn't even take it out of the packaging. Return unfortunately via Revain Retoure!

Received today and very happy with the purchase. I have a small one and it looks really good in our 10 gallon tank. The one we received was a pink and white stone although not the same color as the picture. So be aware that you may receive a different color.

I bought this product for my bearded dragons and they are perfect. The size is just right and doesn't sag. The only reason it didn't get five stars is because you can see there are bubbles underneath. But no waste of money.

I was surprised that it is acrylic and not real stone so it sticks to the sides and sand always sticks to it. Although my crab likes it. It has about 1.5 inches of bezel around it, so I'm digging it in a bit. It's easy to clean and very durable! In general I'm happy!

My crabs love to dive in this and I wish I had a second one for a different angle. All you have to do is make sure it's deep enough in the substrate for the crabs to climb in, and leave a sponge or two so they can use it as a ramp to get back up. It's definitely deep enough for most hermits, because even my big one can dive properly.

Our hermit crab Houdini has become much more active since we bought him a bigger house. I can tell that he loves water bowls and sometimes even uses them for swimming. It's in the corner of the tank and I've put sand on the edge of that spot for easy access, although I'd recommend brushing the sand out from time to time if that's your plan. I love the aesthetic it adds to its surroundings.

Bought for an aviary with hermit crabs. I misread the description and this thing was way bigger (and heavier) than I expected! Thank goodness I didn't order a large one. Although I was surprised by the size of my wine, the bowl matches the description. It's nicely beveled at the edges and easily fits in a corner. And despite the small (natural?) holes in the bottom, the bowl holds plenty of water and doesn't leak.

I love this dish - I bought 2 to feed hermit crabs, one for regular food and one for calcium. The contents remain sealed and you cannot tip or pull the bowl. BUT I have found that this cookware gets dirty very easily and have therefore decided to stop using it for regular/wetter food. It soaked up the moisture from the honey I put in it and made everything else stick to the bowl leaving a black stain.
