Not everyone wants to put a PC next to an extension cord

I was building a new PC and found that the PSU manufacturer's standard wall cord was about 1m long and I wanted to put the PC about 6ft away from it. Renewal. Sigh. It was a little pricey (I had the 14 gauge version) but it's long enough for my purposes and I can leave the extender on my desk with its mess of cords and keys.
