Bought to build a new computer. EVGA is known for quality and I will always buy reputable products. I've had PSU failures and it's hard to figure out what the PSU is. They break down periodically. What happens is that your computer goes blank and restarts after a while. The power supply loses power, but after a while, sometimes within seconds, it turns back on. The first thing everyone thinks of is that Windows has crashed, which makes sense given Windows' reputation. It then works perfectly for days or even weeks and then starts again. Aggravation is not a strong enough word for what you are going through. Always pay for a good quality power supply like EVGA and buy a power supply larger than you need so you don't strain the power supply. a new computer and it has been working fine for six months and is very quiet.
