    Defective from the start

    Ordered for my sister who wanted to build her gaming system. She installed everything, the computer turns on, but there is no electricity. This power supply has been tested by a trusted computer technician and is found to be faulty. I contact Revane and you know what? It's 4 days past the 30 day window and they won't help. She literally just got all her parts and installed and it's happening. Very disappointing.

    Received with a huge dent

    I trusted EVGA very much but I received mine with a dent like it fell off. Remember the box was in perfect condition, shrink wrapped and the power supply in bubble wrap. So I was surprised to see it damaged, it must have happened during production and EVGA NEEDED to improve their quality controls. I can't even install it properly because of the dent! This MUST be fixed!

    The 24 pin cable only had 23 pins and never worked. Be careful with quality control.

    I can't say much about how this PSU actually works as it never worked properly. I installed everything on my new computer and only the RGB lights came on, the fans didn't spin and there weren't even any messages. After hours of troubleshooting, I finally found out that there are only 23 pins installed on the 24-pin motherboard connector. I decided to return it and chose a completely different power supply to avoid the same problem. Your mileage may vary, but it looks like QC is not suitable for

    Failed after a few weeks.

    Worked for a few weeks and died. No smoke, no show, just dead. It was on a pretty light load so no reason for failure. There's a free 5V rail, but there's just a brief fan twitch on startup. I have off the computer on a load tester etc. Nada I will not be buying an EVGA power supply again. There is a reason for the relatively low price. Wiring harnesses are minimal at best.     Check the connectors first

    The installation went well until the "Perif" modular cable was connected to the power supply. It wouldn't snap, so it kept coming loose at the connection point. I didn't check the connection before installing it (it's my fault) so I had to pull the power back. Upon closer inspection of the connection point, one of the internal electrolytic capacitors was leaning against the internal connection and preventing the clip from snagging.     Worked for several hours!

    When I shop at Revain, reviews are the biggest attraction. It has decent 5 star reviews so it should be good. Not correct. I build computers and this isn't my first rodeo so I know what I'm doing. It worked for an hour before my computer shut down.     Bought to build a new computer. EVGA is known for quality and I will always buy reputable products. I've had PSU failures and it's hard to figure out what the PSU is.
