Bought these to fit in the rear window of my squad car as my overheads are not very visible from the rear as they are too far forward. So far they've worked great. I live in Texas and have kept them in a cabin in over 100° ambient, the cabin being much hotter. So far I haven't seen any melting or deforming of the lenses. Flash templates are decent for what I wanted. In terms of brightness, they're pretty damn good for what you pay for. Are there brighter lights? Absolutely if you want to pay another $200. Are there headlights? Absolutely there is. The brightness on them is noticeable enough during the day to draw attention and is blinding at night. They're TIR, meaning they're much less bright at angles than when viewed straight on. Yes, they have a good distance. While there are no complaints, let's see how they perform over time.
