Review on Pioneer TS-6939R Automotive Sound System by Siu Kim ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I definitely recommend buying, I didn't notice any disadvantages.

Very good speakers. I took them to create home speakers for the receiver The indicated nominal power is 90W - I think this is their maximum, because by connecting to the receiver (100W / channel), and removing the bass and treble by 0dB (so as not to burn), the diffuser quite noticeably already walked back and forth and tried to wheeze (and the bass was on 0dB, I think if I put it on 10dB, it could break), plus the coil started to stink a little. But the speakers from the music center (speaker 60 passport watts) stank already at half the volume of the receiver If anyone is interested, here are the Thiel-Small parameters (for calculating the case for these speakers) Fs=62.36Hz Re = 3.00 ohm[dc] Le = 4.71uH L2 = 1275.77uH R2=3.63ohm Qt = 0.69 Qes = 0.73 Qms = 12.91 mms = 182022 grams Rms = 0.555818 kg/s cms = 0.359450 mm/N Vas = 20.41 liters Sd=201.06cm^2 Bl = 5.407413 Tm ETA = 0.65% Lp(2.83V/1m) = 94.51dB With a column volume (with a phase inverter) of 5 liters, the lower reproducible frequency will be 82Hz, with a volume of 9 liters already 64Hz, with 30 liters - 41Hz, with 50 liters - 34Hz (but a small hump of 3dB will already begin to appear) The tweeters and midrange speakers are separated from the woofers by an electrolytic capacitor 4.7uF 63V

Pros
  • Quite powerful, good frequency range
Cons
  • The indicated rated power of 90W is their maximum, I think already from 100W they can be broken if you set the bass boost, or burn the tweeters by setting the treble higher
