Review on πŸ‘œ Medium 70L ARB 10100330 Stormproof Cargo Gear Bag in Brown by William Stevenson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

When not in use this bag looks *great*

I just opened this box 10 minutes ago so first I'd like to say I have no experience using it in water, rain or mud to use . I was a little skeptical about buying something this expensive with no reviews or ratings and very little information on how it works. I couldn't even figure out how the bag from the picture on any site works either. So I'd like to be the first to detail it for those interested, and I'll likely update this shortly after seeing usage. First of all, it is a waterproof bag with a rotating lid. It is made of poly oxford canvas and rubber. The roll up top isn't the kind that pulls over the zip but if you fold the seam over a few times and then fasten the velcro it closes at each end of the bag and then 2 straps are pulled across the top of the bag to handle . The removable hard base measures 12" x 22.5". So the overall bottom dimension is approximately 13 x 23.5 inches. The height when unfolded is 21.5 inches and about 11 inches when folded with minimal load. This gives the volume of the bag listed on the website which is approximately 3200 cubic inches. The exterior of the bag is tan and the ends are rubber with no canvas. The handles are sewn to the base with ribbons, but not from below. These are 1.5" straps with 1" straps sewn to the bottom (the ones that go over the sealed roll top). The side buckle straps are also 1.5 inch straps that attach to a well reinforced canvas pad on the rubber sides. There is a mesh pocket on the front of the bag with Velcro closure which is clearly not waterproof. There are also 2 plastic "rings" (for lack of a better word) that attach to straps sewn into the webbing of the handle, just below the last stitch before the handle detaches from the bag Another "ring" on the back of the bag where you can expect the shoulder strap to go through one of the front rings. a bit cumbersome but it works well The buckles on the bag are nothing fancy but don't feel too cheap either. and could not find any defects other than slightly frayed edges of the canvas.Inside the bag there are 2 zippered mesh pockets which take up about half of each inner wall (long side). Again, there's a hard plastic base made out of fairly thick plastic. Finally, the shoulder strap looks pretty good, with a thick, adjustable shoulder pad and an adjustable length from 30 to 56 inches. I hope this review will help some people learn more details about this bag. Again, it's small and I haven't used it, but I'm hoping to get a big one as well as I truck a lot and could use a roof bag that seals well and not to worry. - Cheers!
