This is a fun toy to explore SDR to see if you like it or not, but its sensitivity isn't nearly as sensitive as it detects weaker signals picks up unless they are very close. The included antenna is good enough to pick up local radio stations and other relatively strong transmissions. I was able to pick up at least a dozen FM stations as well as many other programs that I couldn't understand. For the price I can't complain, it was so much fun I stayed up late a couple of times. Nights with different antennas looking for signals and listening carefully. If you're curious, you should definitely get it.
