Review on Precision 6 Bar Universal Vehicle Barrier by Lori Fleurosier

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It's ok, but there are downsides. But it works.

We got this to be able to keep the dogs separated in the car when traveling. The bars are too far apart for the dog to put his head through, but we knew that. The reason I only gave it 3 stars is because the locks that keep the bars from sliding up and down are useless. Even if they don't pop out on their own, I would use something to keep the dog from moving them. They were held in place with cheap cable ties. With my 2006 Trail Blazer's design, I was able to help place the barrier where it couldn't move forward or backward in the middle of my car. I read all the reviews and knew what I was getting so I'm not disappointed. It still worked the way we wanted it to. UPDATE: Since nobody else does it better, I got a second one to add the stripes to the original so there's less space between all the stripes. That worked great for us and kept the dogs apart. I still had to lock the locks but they stayed in place.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • I will write later
