Precision 6 Bar Universal Vehicle Barrier Review

Had to buy a replacement for my original pole as the lower leg broke and wouldn't stay in place. This bar is thinner than my previous one and has more moving parts on the bars. sometimes it rattles/makes noise but I tightened everything so I don't know where it's coming from. Not as much as my last one, but I couldn't find the original model I had. Better than other options currently available at Revain.

This barrier is amazing! I have two dogs (Labrador and Border Collie) that are used to running out of cars, but with the birth of a daughter I need to set some boundaries for them. The barrier was very easy to assemble and install. The bars are not only adjustable in width, but can also be set closer or further apart as required. I didn't hear any rattling noises while driving and I'm not worried about dogs pushing it out of position.

Overall I am satisfied with the product. It took a little time to install and figure out. This helped contain the pups, but eventually a dog broke through the gate. He used his body weight to push the seat and gate and they bent and cracked, luckily he didn't shatter the window in the process. But after that we could keep using it and he couldn't put it down even with such a tight fit. I've had one before and it was much easier to put together. and actually fits faster and better. Pretty solid construction. We got this to be able to keep the dogs separated in the car when traveling. The bars are too far apart for the dog to put his head through, but we knew that. The reason I only gave it 3 stars is because the locks that keep the bars from sliding up and down are useless. Even if they don't pop out on their own, I would use something to keep the dog from moving them. They were held in place with cheap cable ties.
