I've had one before and it was much easier to put together. and actually fits faster and better. Pretty solid construction. However, the crappy plastic cable locks designed to hold each horizontal barrier in place aren't good enough. Our 3 month old Golden Retriever, Ru B. Doo is just wild with puppy-like enthusiasm and she was able to glide over the rails with ease even when they were engaged. SOLUTION: Purchase a roll of black gorilla tape and wrap a piece about 10 inches long around the vertical bar just below the desired location for each of the horizontal barriers. The color matches well and the barrier cannot slip. The tape can be removed. if you need to change position later. The pup is happy that he gets full control of the back of our RAV4. I'm sure she'll be in the next Feral Puppies movie! All because of this product.
