Living near Lake Michigan, we needed a cart to carry our beach "junk" (umbrella, cooler, blankets, tent canopy, etc.) from the car to the lake shore. This cart collapses nicely in the trunk of our Subaru Forester, expands easily and gives us one-handed ease to haul our belongings. In soft or deep beach sand, however, it will be a two-handed endeavor if your cart is weighed down, as our cart is full of heavy items.
