Review on 🚴 ZUKKA Mountain Bike Pedals, Aluminum Alloy Double DU 9/16" Pedal Sets - Enhanced Bike Accessories by Steven Doty

I'm looking at a ZUKKA mountain bike pedal with a silver body and a black aluminum grip attached with screws. At first I was happy to find these Wellgo branded pedals at a very good price. I've liked similar pedals on other bikes I've had. BUT when I tried them I found less support under one foot than the other. It turns out that one side of these pedals supports the foot well, while the other does not. In my opinion this is not a manufacturing defect but an unfortunate design choice. Yes, you can flip the pedal, but I don't want to be disturbed every time I take my foot off the pedal. Please see photo for lack of proper foot support. I only wear a size 8. How bad must they work for size 12 shoes! The quality of the pedals seemed good: steel axles with well-finished, solid threads, shiny aluminum bodies, and bright, well-placed reflectors. But then again: I agree with others who say that the spindle is a bit stiff. I have returned my purchase.
