This is my third "review" of the back brace. This China-based manufacturer contacted me about my experiences with their back brace and how its design elements worked for me. They have since sent me different sized braces and asked me to try them out and let them know what did or did not work for me. They were interested in and respectful of my input. With regard to those braces I received, the rigidity and odd length of the super-elasticized outer straps were too much for me and my back issues as I need to be able to move more fluidly than the brace allowed; I had increased pain. Additionally, the sizing was peculiar, which is often the case when an Asian manufacturer determines the conversion ratios of Asian-to-American sizing. I was tempted to tell them what they wanted to hear because they were so nice about it, but they wanted real input. Featol took my suggestions to heart and there is a distinct possibility that those suggestions will result in an improved product. I have been invited to receive future iteration(s) of their brace(s) to wear and review. Their level of concern is remarkable. Based upon what I have experienced, I feel confident purchasing from this company. And in their warranty. They honored the warranty as promised. The issues I had with the braces were based upon my back and its needs. I hope this update helps potential buyers feel confident about Featol.(My older review) "I got this just a couple days ago and have not worn it while doing major pain-causing physical tasks for any length of time." This is the first sentence I wrote about this product BEFORE using it for heavy physical tasks. I regret giving the the initial 5-star review and apologize if anyone got it based upon that review and regretted their purchase. I have since tried using this support/brace repeatedly, but had to remove it each time due to the fact that it simply was too rigid to wear while using for gardening and other physical work. It actually hurt to wear it. I bought a size LG/XL and I am a size 12. Even wearing the brace at its loosest, it was simply too rigid in its construction to bring anything other than discomfort/pain. I received no reply from the company regarding the 2-year guarantee, which was a surprise, but I have lived long enough to chalk it up to "Oh well." Others may have completely different outcomes and mine may be a fluke, but I felt the need for an updated review. Never again will I review a health-related item early on.
