Snaps apart too easily

My son has autism and sensory processing disorder as well. He gets overwhelmed and upset with loud noises, so we got these to help with school and when his brother is wanting to be a bit too rowdy for him. They were gear up until they got a couple of weeks use in them. Now the muffs snap off too easy and he can barely put them on his head without them snapping apart. He still loves them, but it makes him more upset when the piece keeps snapping while he’s trying to independently put them on.

Pros
  • These are great got them for my kids for the 4th
Cons
  • May cause headaches or other discomforts for children wearing glasses

Daughter with sensory issues

My daughter does so well with these! She is sensitive to sounds and always plugs her ears from noises. I got these for her for events and whenever she needs them. She went to the racetrack with us and was right by the burnout box and did amazing ❤️

Pros
  • Our 4 yr old Granddaughter loved ghem !
Cons
  • May be too bulky to wear for extended periods

My daughter loved them

They have a very sturdy an beautiful design. My daughter loved the look of them. We bought them for her first metal concert an they worked very well to protect her hearing but after four hours (as expected) her outer ear was a bit sore from the pressure of them on. But, all in all great!

Pros
  • They can also be used to provide a quieter environment for children with sensory processing issues
Cons
  • May not be able to dampen sudden or unexpected loud noises effectively

Great for fireworks!

Fit my three year old while we watched fireworks from a close distance. The sound travelled far, but the headphones really helped in reducing the noise significantly. They were comfortable enough that she wore them the whole time.

Pros
  • Upgraded Products:Our kids earmuffs DON’T have any metal parts which might potentially hurt your children.Besides, rather than ear plugs, these muffs are truly over-ear design which provides more comfort, also no swallow hazards for your kids
Cons
  • May give off an unpleasant odor or material used in construction

Great for kids - my new review

Used these for 4th of July fireworks for my 5 year old. Comfortable, stay on and cancel the noise. She really liked them. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Perfect fit and excellent quality
Cons
  • May not be adjustable enough to fit securely on a child's head

Best purchase ever - my new review

I love these headphones. I bought them for my 7year old autistic niece because she gets dysregulated with loud noises from her iPad. So I was searching for a pair of these and came across these. I bought them and she has wore them all the time to her classes that she has on her iPad and when she does her homework. The only thing is she think she should put it on super tight at first and then it hurts her. Due to her doing that and her being by her iPad she refuses to take them off so she deals…

Pros
  • ‎No
Cons
  • May not be comfortable for children to wear if they have long hair or wear hats frequently

Comfy and stylish good for me

I like that it helps my daughter concentrate on her work at school and that it helps her block out loud noises when she is at lunch.

Pros
  • My 3 year old great grandson liked them at th e monster trucks
Cons
  • May be difficult to adjust for children with special needs or disabilities

My autistic niece LOVES these 🥰

I bought these for my niece, who is very sensitive to and easily overwhelmed by loud sounds/noise. She knows that they live at Auntie's house, always in the same place, so when she feels overwhelmed while visiting, she runs over, puts them on, and goes about her business. I really liked that they had different designs - the galaxy ones are all her favorite colors, so pointing that out when I gave them to her was helpful in making them special just for her. If you have a sound-sensitive child in

Pros
  • They are designed to block out dangerous levels of noise while still allowing your child to hear you and other sounds around them
Cons
  • May not be suitable for children with certain types of ear infections or disorders

Great for the littles with sensitive ears.

Bought for our granddaughter. She has sensitive ears. She puts them on whenever a loud noise is expected, ie, vacuum cleaner, lawn mower, popcorn machine, etc. She loves them.

Pros
  • Fit my little well!
Cons
  • Could cancel out noice better

Noise canceling good for me

I bought these for my daughter because she is afraid of thunder so she wears these to bed. She had another pair before this but they hurt her ears. These are pain and noise free. 10/10

Pros
  • Used for eje 4th of July. My 3 year old loved them.
Cons
  • May not be compatible with certain hairstyles, such as braids or ponytails

Purchased for adult

After reading reviews, I purchased these for myself, an adult, because galaxy ear defenders do not come in adult sizes :( They are not as comfortable as my headphones and put pressure on my jaw from squeezing (I will be ordering boring plain black adult sized ones to compare) but yes an adult can wear these if you really want to! They are about as noise cancelling as any normal over-ear headphones would be without active noise cancelling turned on.

Pros
  • ‎5.79 x 5.63 x 3.9 inches
Cons
  • May not be suitable for children who have difficulty with sensory integration

These worked ? in my review

Hit up a Monster Truck Rally! The kid is not deaf and not complaining about loss of hearing. Only time will really tell if the protection / noise cancellation was there ! But. A seven year old wire them and didn’t complain once !

Pros
  • They work well my granddaughter dies not like loud noises so she loves them
Cons
  • You get what you pay

Blocked noise for my opinion

Bought for use at monster jam, the kids didn't complain about the noise. They were a little uncomfortable after awhile but the kids kept them on for about 2 hours

Pros
  • These ear muffs offer peace of mind knowing that your child's hearing is protected, no matter what the noise level
Cons
  • May not be effective in reducing noise levels for children with certain types of tinnitus or hearing loss

Super helpful during the 4th of July!

My almost 2 year old was celebrating her first real 4th of July and of course fireworks when close are super loud. She had ended up falling asleep right before the fireworks had started, we had put the headphones on her before hand and she slept right through the entire thing. I’m talking ground shaking fireworks and she’s a light sleeper. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Don’t second guess these!

Pros
  • ‎Metal
Cons
  • May not be able to fit children with large or small heads appropriately

Cute, but not terribly effective

These are very pretty and are of good construction. Seem durable enough. Aesthetically they are even better in person, but the actual noise cancellation is very mild. Might be a good choice for a child with a minor need, but it just doesn't block out enough sound for my 8yo who needs more quiet for focus issues. On a scale of 1-10 (with 10 being silent and 1 being no headphones) I'd say the cancellation is at maybe a 3 or 4. I will be returning as we need something closer to a 7 or 8.

Pros
  • Perfect for the price
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use in hot or humid weather conditions

Does the job! best in my review

Ordered this for my toddler to use while she rides the mower with daddy. They seem as they are comfortable on her and help with the noise.

Pros
  • Work great
Cons
  • May not stay in place during physical activities or games

I like that it muffles sound without having to strain to hear people. Also, it doesn’t hurt too much, but can sometimes cause pain if you wear it for too long. I would definitely recommend these.

Pros
  • They offer an affordable solution for parents who want to protect their child's hearing
Cons
  • May not be comfortable for children who wear hats or headbands frequently

Child with large head didn't find confortable

Child's head size seems to be out of range for this item. I'd say children less than 100lbs and under 4feet tall would likely have better head fit. This felt tight. Circumference of head around 22 inches we think. So smaller would be best.

Pros
  • The ear cups are adjustable to fit all sizes of children's heads
Cons
  • May not be able to fit certain head shapes or sizes, leading to decreased effectiveness

Turned down the thunder…

My granddaughter has always hated thunderstorms, she gets very anxious when the sky darkens and the weather alerts begin. She often hid under her blankets with pillows on her head. She’s 10 now so away with the blankets, she uses a sleep mask for lightening flashes but the thunder is still bothersome. It was her idea to buy the headphones to muffle the thunder and she’s thrilled with them. She says they’re comfortable, fashionable (?) and the thunder is there but somehow it got turned down. We…

Pros
  • Safety Earmuffs
Cons
  • May not be accessible to all families due to cost or availability

Awesome for autistic kids!

These noise deadening headphones are awesome. My daughter destroyed cheaper models. These are well made and beautiful. Well worth the price.

Pros
  • Their kinda bulky but they fit my 7 yr old just fine
Cons
  • it does not cancel noise out
