I bought these for my niece, who is very sensitive to and easily overwhelmed by loud sounds/noise. She knows that they live at Auntie's house, always in the same place, so when she feels overwhelmed while visiting, she runs over, puts them on, and goes about her business. I really liked that they had different designs - the galaxy ones are all her favorite colors, so pointing that out when I gave them to her was helpful in making them special just for her. If you have a sound-sensitive child in your life, I definitely recommend giving these a try!
