Not compatible with audio and video accessories

Connected the cable, according to the instructions (in the product description in the nomenclature): Connected the cable to the Aux port and USB port I have a 2013 Hyundai Sonata, turn the car's ignition switch to "Aux" " Connected my Apple iPod Nano 5th generation to the cable: nothing happened, radio switched on, message "aux plugged in", no music played. I wanted it to work so bad! I'm trying to contact the seller before sending it back, I'm sure there must be some "trick" to make it work!
