I got this knowing I was going to be in the hot Arizona sun for a week as well as constantly in the pool/lake/etc. It was perfect! Nice and comfortable. It floated when it flew off my head in the boat so we could circle back and get it (user error, should have had it a notch tighter). Also has been great for going on runs! The only downside is I annoy my wife telling everyone about this hat!
