The concept is a good idea and useful for dark areas. Cons: eats batteries like there's no tomorrow. I think the main reason I run out of batteries so quickly is because my four-legged creatures keep them on all the time. I will continue to use them because when a new battery is fitted they glow very brightly so unless you want to keep changing batteries don't buy them or you will buy them. FYI - check your local stores first (e.g. Walgreens, Bed, Bath & Beyond. even Walmart). I bought the last 3 from Walgreens because they were half price. I needed more so I bought them through Revain.
