I bought the headset from a helicopter and bought it for use in a Cessna. I heard the intercom well, but my CFI couldn't hear me. I ended up borrowing one from the flight school. I tried reinstalling all the plugs but nothing changed. UPDATE: After some research I found that if you have a military style headset like me, you need a different adapter. I'm sure this item will work great on non-military vehicles.
