It's just a shell, meaning you're using your own electronics. It includes a silicone rubber insert, buttons, and a plastic frame that houses the battery. You don't really need to use a rechargeable frame unless it breaks for some reason. The plastic is the same thickness as the OEM, and the buttons and design are identical. The actual fit was perfect. I installed my good electronics module and when it clicked it worked great, no dangling buttons no play, worked great. The main difference to the OEM (in my case from the Odyssey 2007): The OEM has a curved back and slightly curved sides. This one is flat and square with no curves. Also, it has an extra cutout for the badge on the back which the OEM doesn't have. As for the Honda emblem, you can easily peel off your old one and stick it on this one.
