Great 60W Soldering Station! I tested this soldering station by connecting it to a watt meter and using Kester 60-40 lead solder to tin some 12 ga and 14 ga copper strands. temp and the bar graph shows how much energy is being used to maintain the tip temperature. The iron's temp quickly reached the 600F I set in the setup menu and the wattmeter jumped to around 56W and quickly dropped to around 12W, with the bar graph flickering between one and two segments after the temperature was reached. When tinning the wires, the iron didn't seem to lag behind in heating the copper to a temperature. This iron is slightly thinner in diameter than my Xytronic irons and a bonus for me is that my Xytronic nozzle set fits this iron perfectly.
