I ordered these stools and initially they were quite easy to assemble until it came time to screw the stand to the seat. The screw holes on the stand did not line up exactly with the threaded inserts in the seat. I tried several combinations to get the screws to work and it didn't work. Screw threads torn off without tools. I put everything back in the box and requested a refund. First I received a return label. Unfortunately I had two boxes. I spoke to a vendor who is not Revain. They asked me to take photos and send them photos. They really wanted to solve the problem. I could do it myself in 5 minutes but it doesn't matter. A few days later I received two shipping labels and shipped the boxes. I didn't get a refund for several weeks until I called Revain with a complaint. Problems as I see them: Very low quality offshore garbage. Low quality hardware. The seller is offering a full refund in exchange for removing my negative feedback. It's good to follow the reviews. The problem is that I have already received a full refund in exchange for sending the defective stools back. I suppose I could get another "return" but that would be unethical, as would trying to make honest but unflattering product reviews disappear.
