This does a good job of keeping my MacBook Pro charged while I'm using it, but there are times when one of my two screens just goes black. After this has happened a few times, I've found that sometimes unplugging and plugging it back in fixes the problem. What really drives me crazy is when I leave my computer and come back to wake it up. I swear it takes a few minutes for both my screens and the laptop screen to turn off and on music I can't hear before either monitor is usable and I can actually log into my computer. Makes me mad! That's why I give three stars. Update: This product is garbage. Replaced the cables on the monitors and to the device itself. Note that the cable that came with the device requires your laptop to be near a hub. To get my two monitors to work with this POS device, after the monitors stop dancing and one is still not showing, I have to plug and unplug cables to try to recognize the monitor. I replaced the cable with a new one so I know it's not a problem. Sometimes I even have to restart my computer. I absolutely hate this thing. I would send it back but I have already thrown away all the packaging materials. I'll probably use it until I throw it out a window or put it on a train track so it suffers as much as I do. Then I'll try to find something better. Anything should be better than that.
