Flickering on DisplayPort

Update in about a week: I gave 2 stars in my original review but need to downgrade to 1 star. The flickering with DisplayPort is unbearable. I have to shake the connection over 20 times a day to stop it. Original Review: It works great with my 2018 MacBook Pro. I can extend two monitors, one is 4k, the other is 1080p. I use DisplayPort for 4k. Here are some problems: - With DisplayPort, the monitor flickers every time it ends and even turns off for a second or two and then turns on again (maybe

Update: 04.05.19. I am upgrading this product from 1 star to 4 stars. Normally this would have been 5 stars but my problem was not explained in the instructions. Having problem with kernel_task using excessive power when it is connected? Is your laptop so incredibly slow that it eventually shuts down? Maybe you can't get ethernet to work either? Scroll to the last sentence to solve your problem if it's TL; DR. You probably double-checked and saw that you bought the Laptop Charge feature and it…

Easy setup and good performance - so far

Two week old 2018 MacBook Pro. I used the dock for 2 days at work. Ethernet, power, 2 VGA monitors with DisplayPort and USB Thunderbolt adapter, redundant external hard drive. Easy to set up, everything plugged in and it worked the first time. The first day at lunch I had to restart the computer for some reason, I don't know if it was the dock or something else. Second day no reboot, no problems. A nice feature is that I used the front USB port to charge the mouse overnight. I just have to…

This product is absolute junk

This does a good job of keeping my MacBook Pro charged while I'm using it, but there are times when one of my two screens just goes black. After this has happened a few times, I've found that sometimes unplugging and plugging it back in fixes the problem. What really drives me crazy is when I leave my computer and come back to wake it up. I swear it takes a few minutes for both my screens and the laptop screen to turn off and on music I can't hear before either monitor is usable and I can…

Not suitable for 2 monitors and ruins the battery!

I've been using the product for a long time and am writing my review from now on. It was a good device at first, but the second monitor would often turn off if your computer ever went to sleep for more than 15 minutes. This is very annoying since you unplugged and plugged the main Thunderbolt 3 cable back in to boot both monitors back up! Then my battery started to swell on the new 2018 MacBook Pro! This is the price of $300. This ruined my MacBook Pro's entire battery. That's why it deserves a
