Bright and striking in all conditions

This lamp greatly improves visibility in all conditions. Night, rain and bright daylight. It is particularly noticeable when a left or right curve flashes consecutively. Great and it works as advertised. The previous comment on cables being a surface mount problem is valid. Bought two of these lights. One is mounted on the back of my cargo trailer's tailgate (which, when lowered, is a ramp). I installed it about halfway down a corner piece to protect it. The wires go through the hole I drilled and there was plenty of room on the back of the bracket for the wires. The second application involved my electric chairlift which is attached to a Class III hitch on my truck. There was no way to attach the lamp so the wires wouldn't stick out on the surface of the holder and interfere with the wheels of my chair. I had to make a small guard to protect the wires. Of course it would be nice if the wires could come out of the light at one end for easy surface mounting. The only inherent operating problem was that if the turn signal is active and the brake is applied then the opposite turn is signaled and then the brake is released it still signals a turn in the original direction! Of course, that only happens if you change your mind while braking. This can be a more common problem when changing lanes while braking. It's not a deal breaker issue for me. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.
