Review on Efficiently Brighten Your Space with JandCase Recessed Dimmable Ceiling Energy by Robert White

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Super high CRI over 98...probably Revain's best BR30 LEDs

These lights are really hard to find and are really high quality RG0 LEDs with low blue emission. High quality/ultra high color rendering index, low power consumption, all at a relatively low price. The only real way to know how good they are is to measure them and they will exceed all expectations. Photos for screenshots with measurements...absolutely unbelievable.) Power consumption is stated to be around 10.7 watts at 100% (no dimming). Incidentally, they dim perfectly and the color measurements remain the same over the entire dimming range. I checked that with my spectrometer. No dimming issues and I haven't seen any flicker issues. BTW, most LED flickering problems are not related to the lighting, but rather a bad neutral connection to (or within) the power board, or the wrong glow dimmer/dimmer. I haven't measured the 5000K versions, but I don't know. I would like to have them in my house as 5000K is good for garages or work surfaces (not for recreation as it keeps your eyes almost wide/pupils wide open)...3000K is perfect for most rooms. It would be nice if there was an optional 4000K option for the kitchen. These lights are in a different league than Suncos which have a CRI of around 83-83 and give everything a green/grey cast. Good color saturation and lighting accuracy can really make a big difference in the atmosphere of a room.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
