This is a great board for beginners. It includes a board that is both magnetic and foldable, shogi stones that are also magnetic, and a small booklet that describes the rules, movement of pieces, and other nuances of shogi. The board is very well made and sturdy, the magnets aren't amazing but are strong enough to stay put and the parts don't feel cheap. The parts come in plastic mounts so use a small file to get rid of the plastic tips but overall a great board.
