FUN FUN FUN - Games and accessories

A great game that both children and adults can play; My son was given a large game board. The field was too big for two players to play on. So I bought it to play with my son and husband. We are all fans of the game!

Pros
  • Durable surface
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

A little fun for little money

Bought this to play with my 7 year old grandson. We strategized for the second game and enjoy it every time we get a few minutes of play. It doesn't hold your attention for long, so it's ideal for younger children and short playtimes.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • No machine gun

This game should be!

This game is really fun! It only takes a minute to learn, but each game is unique. It quickly became a favorite of many, I know we all have this game and different versions. Blockus is easy enough for a 5 year old and hard enough for adult gameplay.

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • High price

A fun game to play even with very young children (4 .

A fun game to play even with very young children (4 and 5 years old) that allows them "touch their color" without ONLY on the corners as instructed for example for the more advanced players. They "understand" and like the faster tempo. We call this "speed block".

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • I don't remember

Fun game for all ages

I agree with other reviewers that this is a great, fun and challenging game for all ages (our kids are 7 and 10 and they love it). I chose the travel version because it can only be played by 2 players. I was a little disappointed that a storage case wasn't included to keep all those small parts that I can easily imagine getting lost. But I still highly recommend the game.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Things to know

Shortened Blokus

After playing the standard game Blokus, which I love, I decided to try the travel version. I figured it probably wouldn't be as fun, but it's definitely just as fun. So if you're in my situation and usually only have one person to play with, you should definitely try this version. It is no less difficult than a game for 4 people. The quality of the tiles is very high and the tiles are the same size and shape as in the regular Blokus game. I'm not sure why it was called Travel Blokus becauseโ€ฆ

A quick strategy game, but don't let the kids play it in the car!

First off, I've never played regular blokus. By the way, we really liked Travel Blokus. I was looking for a quick and easy strategy game for only two players. I bought this (along with Othello - also recommended but more difficult in my opinion) to fill that need. Travel Blokus was easy to master and each game only lasts 10-30 minutes depending on how long you agonize over your moves. The reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the semantics. The game is called Blokus' Journey and Iโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

Great two player version of Blokus

This game was for sale by another seller on Amazon so I was able to get a good price for it. The game itself is very interesting and very difficult. This game uses all the pieces of the original 4-player block, but only two colors are given, so it can be played by a maximum of two people. You're trying to perform the same actions as the original block (using all your tiles, but also finishing off your opponent) but with a lot less space than the original game. There's a lot more "conflict" here

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Dodgy

Addictive.: Games & Accessories

This game has literally taken over my life. We're one of those families who don't eat in front of the TV and don't play games while we eat. Rather, we enjoy the conversation during lunch. Now let's eat while playing "Travel" Blokus. (Plastic parts are easy to clean). My five-year-old son quickly mastered the game because there is only one rule - your tiles should only touch at the corners. While it may seem like an oversimplification, there is so much strategy behind every move. If you thinkโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Okay for the most part, but...
