Review on Baratza Encore Conical Coffee Grinder Kitchen & Dining by Raye Johnson

I rarely write reviews (because I'm lazy) but in this case I felt I had to write a review. First, the grinder itself does an excellent job of grinding coffee. But I'm not giving 5 stars for the product itself, but for the outstanding customer service. The coffee grinder has worked perfectly for over a year and broke 2 weeks ago. The warranty for the device is over 2 months. I checked the Baratza website and they have a repair program. The price is reasonable ($45 for repairs). I believe the repair was worth it as a new one is more expensive after a year. I sent it to the service center with the payment attached and got it back within 10 days. They fixed it by replacing the broken motor and recalibrating the device. Not only was the repair done quickly, they didn't charge me for the repair (bad check returned). seems to stand behind their product and I'm very happy with that.
