Noise Suppressor for Ceiling Fans and Accessories

This unit replaced my Hunter 3 speed fan controller because I wanted 4 speeds instead of the 3 chain. on my Hunter fan or my Hunter wall bracket. I mean there is no hum at all except for the high ones that bypass the internal capacitors. So this controller delivers cleaner performance than most controllers, including those integrated into the fan. Low gives you a speed lower than the lowest setting for most ceiling fans, medium low gives you a speed that is as low as or slightly faster than most fans. Medium-high is more like medium on most fans, with high on the fan. I would really like someone that does 5 speeds because I miss the speed between very low and low. I remember the ceiling fan in my elementary school classroom in the 80's had a 5 or 6 speed setting, but as far as I can tell, such a setting doesn't exist. Fully variable makes too much noise. Seriously, don't worry, all the fully adjustable knobs on the market I've found today leave most fans producing that alternating bam sound. bam. bam. If you're looking for a speed lower than your fan's low setting, want more than three settings, and want less noise, this is probably what you're looking for.
