Review on ACCEL 170037 Superstock Crimp Tool by Brandon Kraemer

For reference, I didn't buy them from Revain (but wanted to share my experience) I bought this crimping tool along with Accel 4040k spark plug wires from a local auto parts store. I practiced on some extra clamps and extra spark plug wires before using them on the real ones. What a disappointment. As in the review above (wish I'd read it before buying) there just isn't enough surface coverage to make a proper crimp connection. I returned the crimping tool ($37) and bought a universal ratchet crimping tool from another site that actually worked! On the other hand, I'm confident that Accel's Deluxe Ratchet Crimping Tool will perform as intended.
