I ordered this tunnel for a playground I set up for my rat pups outside their cage. The boys love this tunnel very much and run back and forth. I think they like the rustle too. I don't keep it in their cage because I don't want them chewing it up, so I keep it in my play area where they can use it when I take them out to play at night. So that they don't get bored either. It's easy to clean because it's made of plastic, just wipe with a cloth. Our tunnel has been preserved because, as I said, I only let the boys use it during night games so that they can't go in all the time.
