I actually bought the wrong fans and didn't realize it until I started building my system. I wanted a version with a PWM fan but bought non-PWM versions instead. They have lower speeds and cannot be controlled from a mobile device. However, these fans are quiet and move a decent amount of air. The built-in housing can affect the overall airflow. I built my system in Fractal Design Meshify C. I installed all 6 fans, 3 inlet and 3 outlet. My device is Asus TUF X570 with Aura sync software. Please note if your case has a reset button and you don't normally use it, simply connect your case's reset button to the fan controller instead of using the included reset switch. Easy access to reset fan LEDs. Another thing I found is using mobo timing instead of manual mode for these fans' LEDs with the included controller. Once you've set up your system and installed your choice of RGB software, you'll need to sync the fans to your system. To do this, press and hold the reset button until the fans blink white once and release immediately. When you post, fans should sync to the theme you choose. If the fans blink white twice when you press and hold the reset button, you have entered manual mode. Here the fans are not synchronized with your mobile device. You can then press the reset button to reveal the claimed 50 color options. I haven't checked if there are actually 50 or not. The LEDs look really good, and at $40 for 6 fans, they're not bad at all. I do wish I had PWMs though, and if one of them breaks in the near future I'll definitely be swapping it out for it.
