This replacement unit works like new. Except for the screw on the back of this unit, replacing it isn't too difficult. Remove the glove box, the 2 front screws and the electrical connector. No problem. Finding and removing the rear screw is a real pain. You can't see it, you can barely feel it, and even if you can get it with a wrench, there's no way to turn it. It takes a lot of patience to finally get him out of there. My advice for reinstalling is to find a longer screw and put a sleeve between the screw head and the device so you can see the hex head above the device when you tighten it. Otherwise, tighten a screw that will disappear behind the block as you enter.
