Time will tell if they are any more puncture resistant than the armadillos I've used over the years. They ride well and I like the very reflective stripe on the sidewall. Schwalbe rates them a 6 on a scale of 1 to 6 for puncture resistance and durability. Finally my first apartment. I think this is the first time in 30 years of cycling that I've lived without a home for so long. Could be a coincidence. Probably a tire. It was a nail and I don't think any other tire could hold it back, so I can't fault the tire. However, I have an issue and I'm not sure if it's worth giving this 1 star or not. After only 4000 miles, part of the tire bulges a little and the tire is no longer perfectly round. I feel a kick, a kick as it spins beneath me, and it becomes apparent when you turn the bike over and let it spin. The sidewalls appear to be weakening in one section. I removed the tire, patched the flat tire and replaced a few spokes, cleaned it well and inspected it and didn't notice anything wrong when it was removed from my bike but after putting it back on and inflating the tire to 45 psi. , the bump is back. It's not a rim. Obviously it's a tire. This has never happened to my armadillos. Admittedly, I don't treat my tires carefully. I carry a lot of weight (over 300 pounds total including the bike), ride up and down curbs and ride a lot of potholes, but I've done the same with the armadillos. Update: Of course the tire didn't last another 17 miles before the sidewall gave out and I now had to walk the remaining 3 miles home. These tires are most likely fine overall, but I was scared enough to order this tire as a replacement: a Panaracer RiBMo PT clincher.
