We need a lot of outlets these days - I think I could downsize and simplify my desktop and life but that's not really me - I just seem to want more stuff and I obviously love the performance ! I mean I like powerful things. It's a great way to add a few extra power outlets as well as built-in USB ports. The cord is long enough to be dragged to where you need it. You have 6 more sockets and 3 USB. I haven't had any disconnect issues and it shares the outlet with another very well used surge protector. and the extra power consumption doesn't seem like anything fun in general. It also comes with false plugs that you can use to cover unused ones for safety. so far very good! I appreciate more power and I really appreciate the look of this drive compared to a long solid strip!
