Looks like the original block that came with my Prusa I3 MK2S. None of the reviews mentioned this but it does come with a 41" extension which is a BIG bonus as mine ripped out when the print failed. The bonded solution here with wires is of course the weak point, but there aren't many metals that can be heated to over 250Β°C and repeatedly cooled and still be good conductors of electricity and flexible. Copper has problems here, aluminum too. It's just part of the game, they're consumables. Note that on the heater block, an M3 set screw holds it in place. M3x5mm should be perfect, but you can probably use any M3 as long as it doesn't protrude past the nozzle.
