Same problems as other reviews: They have a short lifespan. The price doesn't confuse me, I know E3D should be premium. But so far AliExpress components are proving to be cheaper but also MUCH better. Every E3D thermistor I've had never worked properly for a long time. For me they tend to fail at the Molex connector - loose connections will cause the printer to turn off. Although mine have had other E3d thermistors failing on the cartridge itself. Looks like the original block that came with my Prusa I3 MK2S. None of the reviews mentioned this but it does come with a 41" extension which is a BIG bonus as mine ripped out when the print failed. The bonded solution here with wires is of course the weak point, but there aren't many metals that can be heated to over 250°C and repeatedly cooled and still be good conductors of electricity and flexible. Copper has problems here, aluminum too. It's just part of the game, they're consumables. Note

When I switched to a real e3d hotend I thought it would be nice to get a real thermistor too. Sure, it costs the same as a pack of three cheap thermistors, but it's the real deal! Right? Not correct.
