This Enterprise model (MG04ACA400N) actually has 128MB of cache instead of 64MB as stated in the product description, underestimating the true performance of this wonderful product. Measured write speeds were around 180MB/s on Win10 and 155MB/s on Win7 for large file transfers, which is fairly close to the (non-NVMe) write performance based on USB3 SSDs, which tends to drop after only ten GB A slight performance discrepancy between Win10 and Win7 is a real plus for those who need to move large files between Win7 and Win10 on a regular basis. This is because some internal hard drives (with enclosure and USB3) and external hard drives have excellent write speeds on Win10, but performance drops dramatically when connected to Win7 via USB3, making them unsuitable for moving files between Win10 and Win7 are. Similar products Enterprise quality (ie with a 5 year guarantee) from other brands tend to be much more expensive than this product, making it a diamond in the rough.
