These shorts are pretty nice. I docked a star because they shrink pretty badly in the wash. I would recommend ordering at least one size bigger than you need then washing them before wearing. They do not have any stretch in the actual fabric, but the waist is very stretchy. Also, please note that these have pockets that are diagonal with the hips which causes them to puff out a bit since I have large hips/buttocks. This is a problem I have with every pair of pants/shorts that have side pockets like this.
