Review on Apple IPad Pro 11 Inches (Late 2018) 256GB by Kero Reyes ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product is good, there are only a few minor flaws.

This is my first Apple device, until this moment, since 2022, I have been a user of the Galaxy note line of smartphones and tablets. The last Galaxy tablet is Tab s3 9.7 "With which I will compare ipad pro 11". Design and quality. ipad looks very fragile, not for nothing that apple was proud at the presentation that it literally produces its ipad pro from garbage - recycled old iphones. Tab s3 9.7 feels both stronger and more dignified. Performance and autonomy Here Samsung, on the already outdated tablet Snapdragon 820 ipad, is not a competitor, that the interface, that the rest of the software is noticeably slower. The ipad pro battery also holds better, for 9 hours while I'm at work it loses 0% of the battery charge, while the Tab s3 9.7 can lose 30-40% in idle time. Ease of drawing I took the ipad pro specifically for quick sketches and sketches, when I don’t want or can’t sit at a graphic monitor. And here everything is not so clear. On the one hand, in comparison with the ipad, the Samsung has noticeable delays in drawing. On the other hand, these delays in practice do not affect the convenience when drawing and are invisible without comparison with the ipad. In addition, the ipad was frustrated in the first couple by the fact that the tip of the Apple pencl is plastic and slides too much on the glass, while Samsung has a rubberized spen on all tablets and smartphones with a pen and does not move so much on the glass of the tablet. It turned out to be a matter of habit, after sitting at the ipad pro for 40 minutes I tuned in to a slippery pensil and found that it was clearly more convenient not only to sketch, but also to make a line with it. In terms of drawing software, there were more programs on the ipad; this is at least the free "SketchBook" from Autodesk and the paid "Procreate" ($11). Tab s3 9.7 also has a free "SketchBook" that supports up to 127 layers in FULL HD on my Samsung, psd export/import, "overlap", "multiply" layer effects, etc. What is the result: ipad pro turned out to be expectedly more convenient and productive than the outdated Tab

Pros
  • Performance Design Ease of use
Cons
  • Fragile Expensive
