If I am mounting access points or cameras that need to be covered by a false ceiling, my SOP is to terminate the cable to one of these connectors and then use a suitable patch cord CAT6 length, to connect the access point/camera to the device. I have a few of these in 120 degree rooms and they usually do what they want with no problems. All in all no complaints.
