I was suspicious of this hat for my 2 year old when he was 1. He didn't want to wear hats, 2. The price of a hat for a toddler who doesn't want to wear hats and 3. His head is smaller BUT I loved it when I opened it and it took me all summer to make it to convince that hats are cool and good and necessary to block the sunlight, but here we are at the end of August and he wants to get dressed - you win. The material is soft and of excellent quality, as you are used to from Under Armour.
