The hat is not adjustable but has an elastic band so it grows with your child. It's just a little big for my 3.5 year old. So when it's very windy he struggles to stay on it but other than that it fits great and we're really happy. It looks sharp, good quality, light and breathable, love that it looks like a dad now.
