Review on Ineo 10Gbps Aluminum External Enclosure by Timothy Johnson

I put a SATA drive in one and an SSD in the other and they both work great (more than 2-8 months now). I bought a 16 inch USB to Type C cable as I don't have a Type C port on my laptop. The case is one of the cheapest but has a real aluminum body. This case acts as a heatsink for passive cooling. Other models use plastic and sometimes silver plastic. Before installing a 2.5" drive, take a 2" wide piece of aluminum foil and fold it into a 2 x 3" rectangle with 6 layers thickness. Place it on the NON-ELECTRONIC side of the drive and into the case to transfer heat with better contact.
