Wanted to wait a bit before writing this. I was a little concerned. I use this on OS X/OS11. Disk Drill identified a drive with bad sectors, but has done so with other devices before. I've been using it for three months with no problems. I mainly use it to back up photos and Linux/Windows virtual machines with VMWare Fusion. Performance is acceptable and there were minimal connectivity issues. Sometimes Linux (Ubuntu) loses the SMB connection to the host machine, but that happens when the guest is also on the local disk (although not that often). Not so hot what's up. I just uninstall and remount and the problem is gone. I don't know why they ask me for warmth. It's getting a little warmer, but not very hot. It's weird to ask that. The size is great. Very small, but makes a solid impression.
