I had no idea they existed and always hung my helmet either on a belt or on whatever shelf it could took up a lot of space. This is a fantastic idea and now I don't have birds trying to nest in it if I leave the garage door open for a while. yes it happened to me What I really like is the space saving. I can mount them very close to the ceiling where I wouldn't have anything anyway and they wouldn't bump or rattle and they wouldn't interfere with anything else. The structure is very strong and easy to assemble. They contain screws that are threaded on the outside so the black caps screw directly onto them. The hook on the bottom also seems to be able to hold a lot of weight. My helmet is 2X and still works great for it. I definitely recommend it as a space-saving device.
