I bought a Honda Civic last spring. The radiator was leaking a bit. It's okay, I thought, the price is right and the radiators are cheap. What I didn't know was previous owners threw a leak in the stop system to slow it down. I changed the radiator, but the stove just blew cold. Found the heater core was clogged. I've tried flushing the system and flushing the heater individually with Prestone. It was just too playful. Replacing the heater core in one of them is quite an adventure, so I tried it as a last resort. Dirt flowed from the heater, brown as coffee. The moral of the story isn't to stop the leak, but if you do, this footage will fix it.
