I have long, thick, curly hair and I'm always looking for ways to set it so it doesn't hurt. Buns are usually fine as long as I can get them out so they don't fall apart. I think I got lucky with these beginner hair nets because my first bun I tried came out pretty good. I tried a bit to get the mesh over my hair and it stayed there pretty well. The second time I struggled even more and my bun dangled too much. I figured they would be ok with more bobby pins to create a "look" but they aren't good enough for just holding my hair.
